Their reflections feature in the foreground and add to the stillness. Tonia found inspiration for this beautiful scene whilst walking bayside on the Mornington Peninsula and recreated it to give the viewer a sense of calm and thoughts of tranquil days at the beach .
The artwork is acrylic paint on premium cotton canvas stretched onto an internal frame. An external, white timber floating frame has been added, with wire across the back, ready to hang. The painting is finished with two coats of satin varnish.
